The Growing Together Small Business Training Program is an economic empowerment initiative designed to uplift small business owners across Barbados and the wider Caribbean. From traditional minimarts to coconut vendors, the program provides practical online training in areas like financial literacy, customer service, and inventory management. Delivered in partnership with the National Transformation Initiative (NTI), the training is flexible, accessible, and tailored to meet significant business needs.
Participants gain the tools to manage their businesses more effectively, increase income, and strengthen decision-making and over time add value not just to their own livelihoods but to the communities they serve.
This initiative directly supports Coca-Cola Caribbean System’s pledge to promote regional prosperity, creating a pathway for long-term economic growth through education and empowerment. By investing in people, we help build stronger, more resilient communities one business at a time. Since the launch on April 21st, 2023, 8 successful cohorts were hosted seeing over 250 graduates across Barbados.
